CABIN ALTITUDE
or
Rapid Depressurization

A
  1. Don the oxygen masks
  2. Establish crew communications
  3. Check the cabin altitude and rate
  4. If the cabin altitude is uncontrollable:PAX OXY switch ……………Push and hold for 1 sec
    Emergency descent………Initiate
    Thrust levers (both) ………Idle
    Speedbrake……………………Up

If structural damage is not suspected:
Target speed …………………VMO/MMO
If structural damage is suspected:
Target speed………………….At or less current IAS
Limit airspeed and avoid high maneuvering loads.
Transponder ……………………7700
Descend to the lowest safe altitude or 10,000 ft, whichever is higher.

Q

Low fuel

A

<2200 lbs in left of right main tank

Avoid high nose up att
Make thrust changes slowly and smoothly
Possible fuel leak

Fuel leak suspected if

  • Total fuel less than planned fuel
  • Excessive fuel flow on an engine
  • One tank abnormally low compared to other
  • Progress page2 totalizer less than calculated

Totalizer fuel=sum of individual tank quant.
Calculated fuel= Totalizer at start minus fuel used
Fuel used calculated using engine fuel flow sensors
