What is a QR Code?
A “Quick Response Code” is a type of matrix barcode that contains information about the item it is attached to, which can be accessed when read by a machine.
What are the advantages of QR Codes?
QR codes have a faster readability and greater storage capacity compared to standard UPC barcodes. They are also versatile as they can be used for anything.
What are the disadvantages of QR Codes?
They depend on a mobile or smartphone device fitted with a camera and QR-reading software to be able to scan a QR Code. Not everyone is familiar with how to use QR Codes.
How could OCER Theatre use QR Codes?
OCER Theatre could use QR Codes to redirect someone to their website or use them for code payments. They could also use them to send a ticket to a customer, which could be scanned upon entry to the theatre.
What are some of the uses of QR Codes?
QR Codes can be used to redirect to a URL, for virtual stores, code payments, website login, and funerary use.
