A

Blood vessel vasoconstricts and flow through the injured vessel is decreased

What occurs during platelet plug formation?

A

The injury exposes collagen fibers that lead to the production of vWF
vWF binds and activates platelets causing them to stick to the collagen fibers
Activated platelets attract more platelets which will aggregate and form a plug
