What are the typical features of pyoderma gangrenosum?
A
Typically on lower limbs
Initially small red papule
Later deep, red necrotic ulcers
May be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever and myalgia

Name some causes/associations of pyoderma gangrenosum
A
50% are idiopathic IBD RA, SLE Myeloproliferative disorders (diseases of the bone marrow and blood) Lymphoma, myeloid leukaemias Monoclonal gammopathy (IgA) Primary biliary cirrhosis

How would you treat pyoderma gangrenosum?
A
1st line: oral steroids
