You are a B – watch sergeant and here dispatch broadcast one of your officers is in pursuit with high-speed and metropolitan city. As the pursuit beach is a dead-end street, suspect suspect vehicle slows and comes to a stop. At this time, second officer arrived on scene to assist with the apprehension of the driver (sole occupant). During a handcuffing of the driver, he becomes uncooperative. The driver kicks & flails his legs and refuses to be handcuffed. Consequently, the primary officer successfully utilize his ECD on the driver, resulting in both probes striking the drivers shoulder and Buttocks. The driver is taken into custody without further incident. Neither officer is hurt. Describe what steps/actions you would take.

One of your officers who broadcast that he is in pursuit of a vehicle for speeding on the freeway with two visible occupants. Dispatch meetly context you and visors you have the pursuit. During the pursuit dispatch advises the vehicle comes back as a stolen vehicle. The pursuit continues for approximately 17 minutes in the suspects multiply came to a stop to surrender. Upon your arrival, you observe the driver standing alongside a patrol vehicle in handcuffs. The passenger is handcuffed and in the rear of the patrol vehicle.The suspect has a fresh injury on his face. The suspect is loud, obnoxious, profane and verbally abusive to anyone in uniform and his site. The side of the suspects face also appears to be swelling a bit. As a sergeant explain your steps/actions.

You’re the afternoon Sergeant on patrol on one of your units at buys his dispatch is a pursuit. Dispatch reveals the pursuit vehicle is stolen.
