Connects customer phone with a edge group

They are used for internal communication
What is recommended when it comes to phone trunk setting?
Genesys recommends using the default setting

Outbound Server external trunk configuration
IP address of the telecom provider

IP address that can contact the server and by default is what is set in the Outbound server setting

Why are there 4 phone trunk types?
The reason is because SIP and Phone trunks can be on premise or cloud base
SIP phone trunks can be used in two ways
In a cloud deployment model, or as a SIP phone trunk that connects SIP phones to a Genesys Edge group.
What deployment model does not requite customer intervention?
The Cloud CX and BYOC Cloud
How many edges are required for a site?
At least 2
What outbound routes does a Edge use?
The ones for it sites and not all the sites in the edge group
