Q

Outline the concept of the halo effect

A

If a teacher has a good first impression of a pupil, this impression resonates into other unrelated aspects of the student. For example, a polite student gives a good impression to the teacher which alludes to the pupil being ideal. Therefore the teacher assumes the pupil will be highly achieving academically, for example.
