60-90 bpm
If too slow, cold in body

A
Becomes weaker w/ pressure
Indicates exterior patterns.

A
Cannot be detected w/ light or moderate pressure
Indicates Qi stagnation or vacuity
Deep/rapid =heat, deep/slow= cold, deep/slippery= phlegm

Slow pulse
A
Below 60 bpm
Indicates cold patterns. It is a Yin pulse

A
Above 90 bpm
Indicates heat patterns
It is a yang pulse

It is floating, large, weak

A
It is fine, long and forceful

Like pearls in a dish. Seen in pregnancy, blood disorders, and phlegm patterns
