What does Section 46 Children Act 1989 allow a Police Constable to do?
A
Where a constable has reasonable ground to believe that a child would otherwise be likely to suffer significant harm they may remove the child is a suitable accommodation to keep them there or take reasonable steps to ensure the child removal from any hospital or place in which they are being accommodated is prevented.
