Where is pharyngeal canal found?
supr/lat to alae of vomer bone
- ~1 cm ant/med to pterygoid canal
Where does palatine canal run?
vertically just lateral to perpendicular plate of palatine bone and the maxilla
What does the pterygopalatine ganglion supply?
nasal mucosa, palatal mucosa, some pharyngeal mucosa and lacrimal gland via hitching ride on CN V2 brs except lacrimal
What does the n of pterygoid canal supply?
lacrimal gland, nasal and palatal glands
