What are the key features for Delusional Disorders?
- Presence of one, or more, delusions with a duration of 1 month or longer
- Never met the criteria for schizophrenia
- Function not markedly impaired, behaviour is not obviously odd or bizarre
What are the key features for Brief Psychotic Disorder?
- A person who either has delusions, hallucinations or disorganized speech, with or without catatonic behaviors
- Between 1 day to 1 month
What are the key features of Schizophreniform Disorder?
- Same as schizofreni, but shorter period of time
- 1month to 6 months

What are the key features of Schizophrenia?
- A person who is suffering from either delusions, hallucinations or disorganized speech, with catatonic behaviour and/or decreased expression(low affektivity)
- Has to have two symptoms and impacts their life by a lot
What are the key features of Schizoaffective Disorder?
- Isabella suffers with depression/mania, but also have delusions or hallucinationes for a time period without her major mood episode, concurrent with her mood episode
- She fulfills the diagnosis of schizophrenia and a major mood disorder
What is catatonia?
- Psychomotor distrubances
- At least 3
- A specifier

Passive induction of a posture held against gravity
Waxy flexibility
Slight resistance to positioning by examiner
Mutism
Little or no verbal response
Negativism
Opposition or no response to instructions or verbal stimuli
Posturing
Spontaneous and active maintenance of a posture against gravity
Mannerism
Odd, circumstantial caricature of normal actions
Sterotypy
Repetitive, abnormally frequent, non-goal-directed movements
Agitation
Not influenced by external stimul
