Schizophrenia
Psychotic disorder where the patient hallucinates and has distortions of reality. The patient can’t form proper thoughts and their behavior is affected
Type of Depressive Disorders
Major - major depressive episode
Pervasive - depressive mood for two years
Seasonal - depressed during winter months
Biopolar Disorders
I - manic episode
II - hypomanic and depressive episode
Cyclothymic - hypomanic episode with dysthymia
Anxiety Disorders + Panic Disorder
Generalized - Constant worry
Social - Anxiety due to social/performance situations
Illness - anxiety of possibly coming down with a serious medical condition
Panic - attacks of fear and fight-or-flight response with no stimulus
OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Impulsive and repetitive thoughts of tasks that need to be done and repeated to relieve tension that cause significant impairment
Body Dysmorphia
Unrealistic negative thought on one’s body
Dissociative Disorders
Amnesia - inability to recall pass experiences
Identity - two or more personalities that take control
Depersonalization - feeling detached from body and mind
Somatic Symptom Disorder
Patient has stresses and has excessive thoughts on one symptom

A - Weird, Paranoid
B - Wild, Narcisstic
C - Worried, Avoidant
