Nausea, GI upset flushing, sweating Anxiety, insomnia sexual dysfunction (30%) weight gain (less than TCA) sedation (rare)
Serotinergic crisis
Moradrebaline blockers
sedation, nausea, postural hypotension
TCAs
sedation weight gain, sexual dysfunction, lower seizue threshold
Cardiac effects - promote arrhythmias, postural hypotension
Anticholinergic effects -
SNRIs
Lower doses - same as SSRI
Higher doses - sweating and palpitations

Sexual dysfunction- impotence, erectile dysfunction
Women - ammenorrhoea, galactorrhoea
Weight gain

Cardiotoxicity - long QT syndrome
Olanzapine
weight gain, glucose intolerance, sedation
Risperidone
minor weight gain and sexual dysfunction
Amisulpride
insomnia
Quetiapine

Apriprazole
Insomnia + Nausea
Less extra-pyrimindal effects and weight gain
Clozapine
weight gain, hypertension, lower seizure threshold, neutropenia and agranulocytosis
Used for treatment resistant schizophrenia
Lithium
Common - Gi upset, weight gain, thirst polyuria, fine tremor, hypothyroidism
Skin - acne, psoriasis, macropapular rash
Toxic - neurotoxicity (coarse tremor - confusion - coma - death), renal failure
Sodium valproate
Common - nausea, cramps, weight gain, hair loss, transient raised LFTs
Skin - drug rahs, erythema multiforme
Toxic - pancytopenia, pancreatitis, hepatitis
Carbamazepine
Common - nausea, GI upset, sedation, ataxia, dysarthia, diplopia
Skin - rashes (rare)
Toxic - pancytopenia, cardiac conduction abnormalities, hepatitis
