Brief psychotic disorder
A
- Similar symptoms to schizophrenia but lasts less than 1 month
- often preceded by stressful psychosocial events or factors

Schizophreniform disorder
A
-Same presentation as frief psychotic disorder but psychotic and residual symptoms last 1-6 months

Schizoaffective disorder
A
- Schizophrenia with mood disorder symptoms
- Psychotic symptoms must be present at times without mood symptoms

Dpressive symptoms
A
“SIG E CAPS + depressed mood”
- Sleep disturbances (hypersomnia or insomnia, early morning wakening)
- loss of Interests
- Guilt or feelings of worthlessness
- loss of Concentration
- Appetite changes/weight changes (usually decreased except atypical)
- Psychomotor retardation or agitation (abnormally slow or restless)
- Suicidal ideation
