Causes insomnia so give before noon
if bid give at 6 am and noon
when changing doses watch for suicidal ideations in adolescents

* Patient may develop NMS
- causes high fever over 105, anxiety and tremors
- Eps has anxiety and tremors with no temp
- occurs in elderly and white schizophrenic pts
Sertraline
antidepressant
causes insomnia and serotonin syndrome
S/E: SAD Head
Sweating, apprehension (impending sense of doom)
Dizziness
Headache
Interactions: St John Worst- SS, Warfarin- bleeding
* Dose of sertraline should be lowered on the interaction meds
Ziprasidone
Schizophrenia
Black box warning: increased death with dementia pt
Prolong QT interval- causes sudden cardiac arrest
* DO NOT give to pt withe cardiac conditions
