Presentation:

Oligoarthritis (2-4 joints) - is it sym/assym?

Polyarthritis - is it sym/assym?

What is the joint deformity and destruction called?

A

Symmetrical oligoarthritis (like in RA)

Asymmetrical polyarthritis

DIP

The spine (sacroiliitis)

Psoriatic mutilans - happens in 5%

Signs:

They get inflammation of tendons and the surrounding tendon sheaths in addition to inflammation of the actual joints. What will this cause?

They also get onycholysis. What is it?

They may also get pitting of the nails on the same hand as inflammation.

A

Dactylitis - that is why they have sausage fingers

Distal nail detachment, preceded by yellow/brown discolouration
