What does the necrotising vasculitis lead to?

- What is seen on the skin?

When age is it most common?
S+S:
- What systemic sign do they have?
- What becomes inflamed near the eye?
- Rash - type, where does it start and progress to?
- How is the tongue described?

Management:
Acute
Long term - why?
A
Age 2
Fever
Dry bilateral conjunctivitis
A non-vesicular, desquamating rash which starts at
extremities (inc palms and soles)
Aspirin and IVIG
Risk of Reyes with aspirin use in children. Aspirin not used.
Lifelong aspirin as 25% develop coronary artery aneurysms and are at risk of early MI
