A lifelong nonconagious skin disease that is due to immune mediated cutaneous disorder that triggers epidermal proliferation causing rapidly growing cells

Guttate psoriasis
Rare form of psoriasis that appears as small red spots on skin
Inversus psoriasis
Occurs in armpits, groin, and skin folds
Nail pitting psoriasis
One of the hallmark signs in 55% of cases
Erythrodermic psoriasis
Really sick patient with intense redness over large areas
yeast vs psoriasis
yeast has satellite lesions, psoriasis is consistently colored
Lichen planus vs psoriasis
Lichen planus is very smooth and often found on flexor surfaces and only lasts for a period of time, psoriasis is very rough and lasts an entire lifetime
Psoriatic arthritis
Condition occuring in 5-10% of patients with psoriasis, results in distal phylangial “pencil in cup” appearance
