Q

What is transcription?

A

the first step in protein synthesis, RNA polymerase connects complimentary RNA base pairs to the DNA. Together this creates MRNA, which than leaves the nucleus and enters the ribosome

What is translation?

A

The second step in protein synthesis, TRNA carry amino acids (monomers for protein), looks for base pairings in codons. An anticodon is the complimentary pairing.
