Q

PROTEIN SYNTHESIS INTRODUCTION.

Genes control what?

Amino must be in what?

A

Genes control cell activities by producing protein mainly enzymes.

Amino acids must be in the correct sequence to produce correct protein.

Q

MAIN STEPS IN PROTEIN SYNTHESIS.

SUMMARY.

A

DNA has codes the codes have three bases that make amino acids called triplets.

RNA attaches to the bases exposed on both sides of the DNA.

The RNA sends out a MRNA to copy the complementary bases.

And it changes T to U.

STEP TWO.

A

The BASES in DNA and RNA work in groups of THREE.

Each group of THREE BASES cause ONE

PARTICULAR AMINO ACID to become

part of the PROTEIN BEING MADE.
