Administer to patients at high risk for NSAID-induced ulcers during the full course of NSAID therapy
Evaluate nutritional status
Arrange for a serum pregnancy test within 2 weeks before beginning treatment and begin therapy on the 2nd or 3rd day of the menstrual period
Provide the patient with information regarding the associated risks of pregnancy
Explain the risk of menstrual disorders and pain, miscarriage, and excessive bleeding
