- Check found property records - call the station
- Obtain details - obtain the information needed to complete a lost property report when you get back to the station
- Consider other action - consider a search of the area where the property was lost
- Complete POL 261 - complete the lost property report and mail the duplicate to the victim , submit original to the snr sgt.
