At the north entrance to Elliot bay is a low Sandy point which rises abruptly to over 300ft .5 miles from its tip. End of the point is marked by a light 27ft above the water shown from 30ft white octagonal tower attached to a building.

Largely bare, light colored and rising in places to nearly 300ft. Extends along the north shore from west Pt. To smith cove.
4) four mile rock
Is 60 yards offshore and 1.7 miles SSE of West pt light. A light is on the rock
5) smith cove
2700ft breakwater at small craft basin just west of smith cove. Cruise ship terminals at pier 90 and 91
6) grain terminal
Between smith cove and Seattle waterfront large grain silos and pier 86
7) Seattle
The largest and most important city in the northwest and one of the major ports of the pacific coast. Prominent features- space needle, red light “E” and pier 67, Washington building (light sandstone), Columbia center ( tallest building), smith tower, gantry cranes at terminals 37 and 46
8) Duwamish hd
1.8 miles ne of alki pt marks the south end of Elliot bay and rising to over 260ft from the point. The bluff is tree covered but is interspersed with houses.
9) alki pt
At the south entrance to Elliot bay, is low with small prominent wooded knoll about 80ft high immediately behind it. Marked by a 39ft light shown from a 45ft white octagonal tower attached to a building at the end of the point
10) Blakely rock
The highest of 4 rocks, is prominent in approaching Blakely harbor. At high water shows about 15ft at its highest Pt. It is 300yds long with shoal water well marked by kelp. A light is on the south side of the rock.
11) wing Pt
On the north entrance to eagle harbor is a narrow bluff point 30ft high covered with trees to the edge. A flag pole is prominent on the point.
12) creosote
A low flat extending 350 yds inland the rising abruptly to over 200 ft. Is on the south entrance to eagle harbor. 2 lights and a buoy mark shoals to the NW and E
13) eagle harbor
East shore of Bainbridge Is. Opposite of Elliot bay. Bainbridge ferry terminal here. 2 miles ling and affords excellent anchorage in 30-39ft muddy bottom
14) restoration Pt
Is flat and about 10ft high for 300 yds from the shore. Then rises abruptly to a wooded knoll about 100ft high on which a flag pole and a number of large buildings are prominent.
15) orchard Pt
South point at entrance to rich passage, is marked by a mariner radio activated sound signal by 5 clicks on 81A
