Pt Wilson
W point of admiralty Inlet marker by 51’ light, white octagonal tower on a building with red roof On water extremity of low point.
Marrowstone Pt.
East point at entrance to port Townsend. Low at its extremity but rises abruptly to a bluff 120ft high.
Marrowstone Pt lt.
28’ above the water is shown from a 20ft white square structure on the east edge of point.
Indian island
North end of island has navy ammunition depot and conspicuous ammo loading pier
Walan Pt.
North west side of Indian island. A floating security barrier marked by private lights surrounds naval restricted area in the east part of the harbor.
Port Townsend
Town, wharves, ferry terminal, customs house-post office building conspicuous on bluff overlooking waterfront, cupola and clock tower.
Port Townsend boat haven
1.1 miles southwest of point Hudson. 475 commercial and recreational spaces
Glen cove
Site of port Townsend paper mill, 480’ pier large white building and tall stacks of the mill are prominent as is the smoke.
Port Townsend canal
A dredged canal giving access to oak bay to the SE. is marked by lights and day beacons on both ends. Canal is crossed by a fixed highway bridge with clearance of 58’ and power cable clearance of 90ft
Mats mats bay
SW of klas rock, is a small nearly land locked lagoon offering excellent protecting from the wind for small craft. Entrance is a dredge channeled marked by 261ft lighted range, buoys and lights
Foul weather bluff
On the east entrance to hood canal. One of the most prominent cliffs in puget sound. The north face is bare 1/2 mile long and consists of vertical grayish sand and clay bluffs, 225ft high.
Admiralty head
On Whidbey island is the east entrance point to admiralty inlet is on the se extremity of a succession of light bare bluffs. About 1/2 mile north of admiralty head an abandoned lighthouse tower 39ft stands out of a bluff
Port ludlow
West part of admiralty inlet, is just west of Colvos rocks on the west side entrance to hood canal. Log dumping ground at the head of the bay, a series of exposed piles are on the northwest side of inner bay.
Keystone harbor
East side of admiralty head. WSF landing on whidbey island marked by a breakwater and light
Bush pt.
8 miles SSE of admiralty head. Is marked by a light at the end of a low sand spit. Back of the spit land shows as low timbered Point from north to south.
