- Be Diligent, Respectful and Caring Steward (being a good person)
- Create collaborative project environment (give team support)
- Effective engagement with stakeholders (keep them informed, actively engaged)
- Focus on value
- Recognize, evaluate and respond to system interactions (scope will affect cost, cost will affect schedule, etc. etc.)
- Demonstrate good leadership (motivate team, lead team)
- Tailor based on context (tailor approach depending on type of project - Traditional, agile, hybrid)
- Build quality into processes (get actual deliverables in good quality)
- Navigate complexity (Permits, dealing with people)
- Optimize risk responses
- Embrace adaptability and resiliency (you will get hits, hurricanes, people sick, etc)
- Enable change to achieve the envisioned future state
