  • Be Diligent, Respectful and Caring Steward (being a good person)
  • Create collaborative project environment (give team support)
  • Effective engagement with stakeholders (keep them informed, actively engaged)
  • Focus on value
  • Recognize, evaluate and respond to system interactions (scope will affect cost, cost will affect schedule, etc. etc.)
  • Demonstrate good leadership (motivate team, lead team)
  • Tailor based on context (tailor approach depending on type of project - Traditional, agile, hybrid)
  • Build quality into processes (get actual deliverables in good quality)
  • Navigate complexity (Permits, dealing with people)
  • Optimize risk responses
  • Embrace adaptability and resiliency (you will get hits, hurricanes, people sick, etc)
  • Enable change to achieve the envisioned future state
