Defined start and end. Business as usual afterwards (with change)

Each project is unique for one reason or another - product/team/customer/location etc

Projects are the means to introduce change
Five characteristics to a project, one is Uncertainty. What does this mean?
Projects are more risky, with more threats and opportunities.
Five characteristics to a project, one is Cross-Functional. What does this mean?
Team of people with different skills creating change that will have an impact outside of the team
