How can a logic model assist in program planning and evaluation?

A
  • Logic model = logical chain of connections showing what the program is to accomplish
  • Series of if/then relationships
  • Inputs (program investments) + Outputs (activities and participation) = Outcomes (short, medium, long-term)
  • Examples = family members, budget, car, camping equipment + drive to state park, set up camp, cook, play, talk = family members learn about each other, bond, have a good time
