Allow you to control the behavior of a field in Prelude activities. In some cases they create visual indicators to guide end user (e.g. a stop sign or yield sign)

How to find the profile activity of a workflow?
Go workflow

What are the profiled activities?
If you build a profile for each activity listed, the system will alter the field to show the most restrictive profile.
Listed form most restrictive to least restrictive.

What are the four required parts to setting an item profile?
Choose the item by filling in the INI and item number
Choose the value, such as recommended
Select the records to which your item profile will be linked.
Select the activity to which the item profile will be applied.
Item default
They are used to automatically select a value for a field. They are used using the Item Default Editor. The value that you specify in the item default will appear in the field ONLY if the field is not already filled out. Staff can change the field.
What are the required parts to setting an item default?
