They can use automation to speed up production
Made to meet specific orders from customers
What are the advantages of flow production ?
Large amounts of one product can be made
Cost for production per unit can be low

Costs of production are high
Labour costs may be high because it’s skilled labour

It can take time to switch the production line
May be necessary to keep stock of raw material which can be costs

May not be good quality due to being mass produced
Can be repetitive and boring for workers
