Phases of UX design

A

Research;
Design;
Testing;
Implementation.

these four phases are not quite as linear as the outline suggests. In particular, the design and testing phases are often repeated in several ongoing iterations.

Product Team Workflow

A

The entire team meets to discuss the minimal viable product (MVP) they’d like to create. The product manager, who’s responsible for overseeing this whole process, should have the goals (set by various stakeholders) and business requirements in mind.
The UX designer completes research, then conceptualizes a few solutions.
The team meets to discuss possible solutions presented by the UX designer. Decisions are made about the technical implementation of the product and the next steps.
The UX designer iterates and—depending on the possibilities available for technical implementation—makes necessary changes to the concept. Meanwhile, the developer prepares the code and the UI designer prepares the visual design specific to the agreed-upon solution.
The UX designer tests the solution with potential users to see if any final adjustments should be made.
The UX Designer updates the team on any usability issues and final changes. All relevant team members iterate their work accordingly.
Finalized wireframes or prototypes are handed off to the UI designer for the incorporation of visual details. The UI designer then presents their work to the team.
The developer handles the final implementation of the product. The team meets regularly to ensure that the development process is progressing well without any issues or roadblocks.
