What is Storytelling?
A tool to express your thoughts through a more tangible narrative, that helps the audience relate
Elements of a product story
Hero = user
Goal = what user is trying to achieve
Vilain = the thing that gets in the user’s way
sidekick = your product
Plot = how sidekick helps hero defeat the villian
product story narative structure
- Big picture: describes the hero and the hero’s goal
- Problem: describes the villain preventing the hero from accomplishing the goal
- Enter the sidekick: describes how the hero and your product get to the resolution
- The aftermath: Describe the impact and conclusion
