What is a spin?

A

maneuver where the airplane descends in a helical path with 1 wing stalled. (AoA greater than critical AoA)

Happens from aggravated stall in slip or skid

nose yaws in direction of low wing

Power off
Ailerons neutral
Rudder opposite the spin
Elevator forward briskly to break stall

neutralize rudder
back-elevator to raise the nose
