Problems we face with the Issue of Salvation

Cause- Habitual sin:

• We may think that since we keep on sinning we must not be saved
• We are not relying upon the power available to us to live victoriously over sin
• We forget that we were chosen, God knew all the sins we would commit and He still chose us to follow His son

Cause- Spiritual apathy

• We are in need of revival, dried up inside. Apply and live out what we believe, cure to spiritual apathy

Cause- Satan

• Mind off God, they will get into trouble

Cause- Physical/mental stress

• Affects the entire person

Cause- God temporarily withdraws

• Shows whats buried deep in their hearts
• Does not mean a person has lost their salvation

Cause- Spiritual immaturity

Unaware of:
- Ephesians 1:13, 14- We have been sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption
- 1 John 1:8-10- If we confess our sin He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us of our sin
- 1 Peter 2:1-3- Our walk with God is a growing process
