Does the library have more than one printing system?

Answer 1

Yes. The library has two systems. The Columbia University NINJA system (Russell100a) and equitrac printing system (RH1)

How can patrons use the NINJA printing at the library?

Answer 2

Students and staff can send their print jobs to Russell100a. At the printing station they can pull up their documents at the computer attached to the printer and enter their UNI and passwords to print.

Do students get free printing?

Answer 3

Students get 20 free pages a week on the NINJA printing. Students also get 20 free pages on the GoPrint system located in Horace Mann.

What can students do when they run out of their 20 free pages?

Answer 4

Students can add money to their printing quota online or they can go to 234 HoraceMann to pay $35 for 100 pages/per week, but they must indicate they want CU only printing

How can patrons pay for equitrac printing?

Answer 5

They must put money on their ID card or purchase a flex card using the machine attached to the wall on the second floor. The machine only accepts dollar bills and a minimum of $5.

Yes the Horace Mann computer lab (234 & 242 Horace Mann) uses the GoPrint system

No. There is a fax machine in the Business Services center, which is in 36 Zankel. It is only open from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.
