birth - 3-4 mon
baby flexs fingers to grab to grasp
plantar grasp relfex
birth- 6-8mon
touch the sole of foot at base and toes will curl
rooting reflex
birth-3-4mon
stroke perioral skin at corners of mouth and baby will open mouth and turn that way
moro relfex (startle reflex)
birth-4mons
hold baby supine supporting head and lower baby abruptly, baby will abduct arms and extend, open hands and legs flex
asymmetric tonic neck reflex
birth-2mon
with baby supine turn head to one side, arms on opposite side should flex well arms on which head is turned should extend
trunk incurvation (galants relfex)
birth-2mons
place baby prone and stroke 1cm from spine on either side and spine should curve to side stimulated
landau relfex
birth-6mons
suspend baby prone with one hand and head will lift up and spine will straighten
parachute
8mons and doesn’t disappear
suspend baby prone and slowly lower head towards a surface arms and legs will extend in protective fashion
positive support reflex
birth or 2mons-6mons
hold baby around truck and lower till feet touch the ground, the hips knees and ankles extend and baby stands up partially bearing weight
placing stepping relfexes
Birth-variable age to disappear
hold baby upright, have one sole touch the table top, the hip and knee of that foot will flex and the other one will step forward
