Identification, records, permits
How could quarantine differ for the destination?
May consider training, acclimitization, different wild animal access?
What might comprise an effective husbandry plan?
Diet, enclosure design (social, behavioural and reproductive activities), hygeine and staff training.
Outline components of a routine health program/disease surveilance.
Routing screening of faeces and blood
Physical examinations
Prophylactic treatments for parasites and infectious disease
PMEs if needed
Describe how a risks can be managed.
Identify hazards and qualify the risk and likelihood of their occurance, as well as who might be at risk.
Record the findings of this and implement and appropriate strategy.
Make sure to constantly review and update the assessment as neccessary.
