Made it able to include an amendment to the bill that was going through parliament

To give women the right to vote
Why did they want the vote?
Because other countries had already given it

What did the Representation of People Act do?
Gave women who were over the age of 30 and who owned land the right to vote.
Why did the stonewall campaign start?
Because of police raids on places such as stonewall Inn and homosexual people wanted to change the way they were treated
What methods did the stonewall campaign use?
Campaign conducted riots and protests to fight against the police and gain attention of Parliament

- same sex marriage legalised in 2014
