C - Contraindications to current drugs?
R - Route for each drug
Iv - Fluids if needed

R - Pain Relief if needed
List 3 treatment options for DVT/PE
Rivaroxaban/Apixaban (DOAC) - 1st line
Dalteparin (LMWH)
Enoxaparin (LMWH)
List 3 Treatment Options for Chronic Heart Failure
ACEi - Ramipril, Lisinopril, Enalapril - 1st line
Beta blocker
Spironolactone (used as adjunct with ACEi/BB so is not first line)
When should ACEi be given? Why?
At night.
Due to risk of postural hypotension
How is Hyperkalaemia managed? (2)
Short acting insulin + 100ml 20% dextrose - Actrapid/Novorapid
Given over 30 mins
Calcium Gluconate - Given to stabilise myocardium
2nd line - Salbutamol 2.5-5mg Nebulised
