Quantitative data
Contains factual information and numerical values.
Eg how far you ran on 30m sprint and exact time.
Qualitative data
Subjective data, looks at feelings, opinions and emotions. Formulating hypothesis.
Eg how someone feels during different stages of 12 min Cooper run such as fatigued, energised, strong week, heavy or light breathing etc.
Objective Data
Factual and measurable data. More accurate in fitness testing.
Time in 30m sprint, number of push ups in 1 min push up
Subjective data
Data based on personal opinions, assumptions, interpretations and beliefs.
Validity
In fitness testing, test must be valid to produce accurate results.
