Cervix
The neck of the uterus that connects to the vagina

Meconium straining
Greenish or brownish color to the amniotic fluid which means the unborn infant had a bowel movement
Preeclampsia
A complication of pregnancy where a woman retains large amounts of fluid and has high blood pressure
Eclampsia
A severe complication of pregnancy that produces seizure and possibly coma
Miscarriage
The natural loss of pregnancy before the 20 th week
Fallopian tune
One of the two tubes that extend up from the uterus to position near the ovary

One of two almond shaped glands in the female that produce ovum
