What are some general limitations for pregnancy?
Except from regular PT, PFA cycle to include 6 months postpartum convalescent leave, exposure to chemicals or toxic agents, standing at parade rest/attention for more than 15 minutes, immunizations not including TDAP/Flu, weapons/swimming/drown proof qualifications, allowed to work shifts, ionizing radiation not exceed 0.5 REM
What are some specific limitations for pregnant service women?
Applies to after 28 weeks: allowed to rest 20 minutes every 4 hours, limited 40 hour work week over span of 7 days to include watch standing
Who can authorize a waiver for time limitations if service women requests?
CO and OB provider if they desire to waive time restriction
The service woman can be eligible for transfer overseas under what circumstances?
Has not reached 28 weeks
Adequate OB facilities
Does not intend to place infant for adoption
Base/alternative housing available
A service woman can transfer CONUS under what circumstances?
No restrictions (no flights after 28 weeks)
