experiment and see those same results outside the experiment in a real-life setting. We
want to see these same results beyond just the participants in the study and see it in
other people who aren’t test subjects too! Having really high internal validity (all of these
controls and stipulations) makes it harder to have external validity (see people under
these same conditions with similar effects)
