patient stand or sit with arms to sides, head in max extension and ipsi or contral rotation, pt breathes deeply causing scalenes to contract first rib rising, hold 20-30 seconds

A

PT sits on a stool, pt stands with back to PT and rests on their knee, shoulder moved down and back, pt bends the trunk to opp side and breathes deeply causing rise of first rib, hold 20-30 seconds

A

pt arm slowly guided into an elevated hyperabducted position, brings pulley action of pec minor around coracoid, clavicle rotates
