Take your beginning sample and add amounts into test tubes with varying water amounts to create concentrations with even gaps in between.

Serial dilution

Take your beginning solution and transfer 1cm3 from it and add 9 cm3 keep going transferring from each previous test tube.
You will end up reducing the solution by 50% each time.
