Q
Contraindications for Cryotherapy use?
A
- Cold intolerance/hypersensitivity
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Cryoglobulinemia/Raynaud’s Phenomenon (vasoconstriction–narrowing of blood vessels)
- Bloody peepee
- Peripheral Nerve Damage (weakness, numbness in hands & feet)
- Peripheral Vascular Disease (progressive narrowing of blood vessels)
4
Q
What sensation should the patient expect to see in Cryotherapy use?
A
CBAN:
Cold
Burning sensation
Aching
Numbness
5
Q
