Where is the infra orbital pressure point?
At the base of the nose. Pressure should be applied at a 45° angle toward the top center of the head.
Where is the hypoglossal nerve pressure point?
1 inch forward of the R angle of the mandible and 1 inch under the jaw in the notch in the jawbone. Pressure should be applied toward the top and center of the head.
Where is the jugular notch?
Just above the sternum. Pressure is applied downward at a 45° angle.
Describe level one of the shoulder pin restraint?
Rear neck lock, no compression.
Describe level two of the shoulder pin restraint?
Mechanical compression until conscious compliance.
Describe level three of the shoulder pin restraint?
Mechanical compression until unconscious.
Where is the mandibular angle?
Located behind the ear between the mastoid and the mandible. Pressure should be directed in and forward toward the tip of the nose.
