Define Administer
Directly apply a controlled substance by INJECTION, INHALATION, INGESTION, or other means to the body of a patient.
Define Controlled Substance
A substance, adulterant or dilutant listed in Schedules I-V or Penalty Groups 1, 1A, or 2-4. It includes the AGGREGATE WEIGHT of any mixture or solution containing the controlled substance (ex: mix powder into soda bottle…weight would be the total weight of soda and powder combined)
Define Controlled Substance Analogue
A substance with a chemical mixture substantially similar to the chemical structure of a controlled substance or designed to produce an effect similar to a controlled substance in Schedule I or II or Penalty Group 1,1A, or 2.
Define Counterfeit Substance
Controlled substance that WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION bears an actual or simulated trademark, name, or identifying mark OTHER than the legitimate substance.
Define Deliver (or offer to deliver)
To transfer a controlled or counterfeit substance or paraphernalia, actually or constructively, to another, including an offer to sell.
Define Dispense
Delivery of a controlled substance in the course of PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE. (Think pharmacy!)
Define Distribute
To deliver a controlled substance other than by administering or dispensing.
Define Drug
A substance intended to affect the structure or function of the body of man or animals but is not food.

Equipment, product, material used or intended for use in planting, propogating, storing, concealing, INJESTING, INJECTING OR INHALING etc. a controlled substance.

A substance that is a principal compound used for use in MANUFACTURE of controlled substance.
