Stages of protein synthesis

A

Transcription- the base sequence of the gene is copied into a complementary template molecule (mRNA)
mRNA passes out of the nucleus into cytoplasm
Translation - mRNA attaches to ribosome, amino acids are brought to ribosome on carrier molecules (tRNA) ribosome reads the triple of bases and joins amino acids in order
