COG
Center of gravity. Imagine a single vertical line dissecting the right and left halves of the body and the front and back halves.
BOS
Base of support: includes the feet and space between them when a person is standing.
ROM
Range of motion- each joint has a given range of motion
Kinetic chain
A sequence of action that must happen for the body to correctly move. Each joint or muscle is affected by the joints. and muscles it’s connected to.
Posture
Posture is usually defined as the relative arrangement of the parts of the body. Good posture is that state of muscular and skeletal balance which protects the supporting structures of the body against injury.
Strength
The ability to run ones load joints-shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles through a full range of motion over and over again without restrictions, stiffness or pain.
