- Taking Hold (day 2-3): baby focused, open to learning
- Letting Go : interdependent stage
What is the difference between postpartum Blues and Post Partum Depression?
Blues: let down feeling, 2-3 days after birth and disappears w/in 1-2 weeks
Depression: sever, last weeks-months, maybe unable to give care for baby or self
What are the immunizations given Post Partum?
Rubella, RhoGam, TDaP, Flu,
Lochia: Rubra
up to 3 days postpartum, dark red
